| has anyone seen the new Tip Top Tailors billboard commercials? they're trying to sell their clothes to men by offering tips and advice about women i believe? the one i saw was pretty funny and went something like this: her friends know everything about you. i'm not sure if all girls will agree with me...but i find this pretty truthful for me and my close friends. poor boys... anyways, i had a great x'mas and new years this season. these pics speak for themselves:
all the best to everyone in 2007!
| -waking up at 6am was TOTALLY worth it -i feel sorry for the ppl who went to Yorkdale. while driving 401W at 7:30 am, cars were already PACKED at the Allen Rd. Exit. then when i was returning from sherway gardens at 3pm, the line ups to get out of the highway were still going on. -going to Sherway Gardens was the best decision ever. They have everything including Lulu, coach, holt renfrew, and sporting life. The only thing they're missing is Zara's. the best thing is there was no line up to exit the highway, and we parked fairly close to the mall. -Gap has the best sales -lining up to pay was a bitch. some of them were soooooooooooo long that i'd rather pay full price and not line up. -ppl who lined up for abercrombie and fitch or hollister are very, very, very, very patient ppl. the line was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO damn long for both stores!! we're talking about at least 15 meters!!! crazy! all in all a very successful and satisfying boxing day, ending with lunch at Sushi Bong. :) | | |
| i think 2006 has helped me learn/realize a very important thing in life: change is inevitable. i know, it's something that goes without saying. but when do we really have a chance to stop and think about it? looking back at the begining of 2006, things were so diff, and they have been constantly changing ever since. bad things come and you wish things would change and...they do. good things come and you wish they would never ever change but...they do. i think the important thing is to look at change with a positive attitude. when things are bad, don't despair because nothing ever stays the same. when things are good, don't take them for granted because tomorrow, it might be gone. ah, a slightly philosophical post never hurt once in a while. :) _________________________________________________________________________ on a lighter note, it took me 4 hrs to make potato salad and bake cookies for a pot luck tmw. you know you work in a lab when: 1) you want to put on gloves before digging your hands into cookie dough 2) you make a note to buy alcohol for wiping down your kitchen bench happy holidays everyone :) | | |

ok it's 12:40am, i should totally be in bed right now but i just had to say: i am so happy Caridee won!!!!!!!! honestly, i think she's my favourite 'america's next top model'. she has so much charisma, looks absolutely beautiful in pictures, is so naturally talented, and has the 'wow' factor, and is not a bitch. she was my favourite from the start. if melrose won, i think i would have thrown the remote control into the TV. god i hate her so much!!! ( ya ya, it's just tv. ;p) anyways, i'm so sad that the season is over now. i'll miss the show...i really hope they come up with a new season! thanks kinkyK for getting me into it :)
| don't know why but i've developed a sudden love for Keane. something about his music...it has an almost hypnotizing quality to it. his new cd is awesome. _______________________________________________________________________________ so i went to watch the broadway version of Chicago yesterday. out of 10, i'd give it a 7.5. i didn't like the way the stage was set up - they had the band in the middle and took up 80% of the stage so all the acts were done either in front or around the band...it just felt unnecessarily crowded and weird. the main girl who played roxie hart was absolutely brilliant. she played the part so so well, she was really a pleasure to watch. the funninest thing was Kevin Richardson from the backstreet boys played billy flynn (the lawyer). when he came out everyone was cheering like crazy. i thought it was really funny and amusing...backstreet boy gone broadway.
_______________________________________________________________________________ i'm getting sick :( don't know what it is but after having Salad King yesterday i felt really weird and greasy, and then at night i felt hot and then cold and i couldn't get a good sleep. do you guys get weird food cravings when you're sick? i have the most unusual food cravings. for example, the last time i got really really sick and i felt like i was almost going to die (it was painful to even lie in bed), the only thing i wanted was mc donald's orange juice. i think i went 2 days just having that for lunch and dinner...i couldn't eat anything else. now this time, i'm actually craving fruit which is weird because i'm totally not a fruit person. i only like fruit if it's really really fresh and it's all peeled and cut for me...which doesn't always happen so i just don't eat it ;p but now i'm craving pineapple which i normally don't really like. hehe anyways enough with my randomness. hope i can go into work tmw cuz i have a million things waiting for me to do!!
